Winter 1982 are musical duo Phil and Luke. Phil is the band's vocalist/guitarist whilst Luke's musical duties include Piano, Bass, Guitar and some production.
The double act have been friends since primary school and together with Luke's passion for music the birth of Winter 1982 was inevitable.
It took them some time to find a sound they were comfortable with but once they did it wasn't long before they started gigging around Birmingham and they even got airplay on BBC Introducing.
Their most current release is Friend, which they recorded with Ryan Pinson - a Wolverhampton based producer.
They are looking at heading back into the studio with Ryan in February and plan to release an EP in Spring.
Friend is a laid-back melody with a smooth guitar arrangement, emotionally beautiful lyrics, catchy beats and outstanding vocals.
