The Beautiful Vocals of The Koniac Net

Abiogenesis is a 5 track EP which is a follow up to One Last Monsoon.

Rose Coloured Glasses is a smooth upbeat melody with catchy instrumental hooks beautiful vocals and positive lyrics.

Floor-less opens with an addictive beat and more smooth instrumentals.

Another Point Of View is a laid back tune with mellow vocals complimented by a first class instrumental arrangement.

Chasing After You begins with a delightful guitar intro, which transitions into laid back vocals before introducing us to more upbeat instrumentals, this has a more rocky feel then the preceding track.

The Ardent Companion That You Are is even more of a rock song then Chasing After You but the vocals are still enjoyable in places.

I'm more of a fan of the first three tracks as they showcase the best qualities of the band's vocal talent and instrumental mastery.

The debut album One Last Monsoon was spawned in Bombay, India where it was not only solely written by Singer/Songwriter David Abraham but also primarily recorded in his bedroom - an apt locale as the album pays homage to Indie and Alternative genres and the musicians that keep these genres alive.

The Koniac Net has been compared to the likes of The Stills, Smashing Pumpkins, Toadies and even Chris Isaac and The Deftones.

Songs from One Last Monsoon gained extensive coverage by getting airplay on 100 radio stations across 28 countries.

Following numerous requests to tour internationally, in June 2012 The Koniac Net expanded from a one man project to a 5 piece band.

David and The Koniac Net has received wide spread media coverage from GQ and Rolling Stone Magazine to MTV (India) and VH1 (India) as part of Vogue's Fashion Week, Delhi and their songs were even featured in Aussie Web Series - Flat Whites.

Australian Songbird Helen Rae entertains us with smooth and soulful vocals

www.reverbnation.com/helenrae

Rewind showcases Helen Rae's smooth and soulful vocals, despite the instrumentals overpowering the vocals this isn't a bad introductory track.

Ripples On The Water is a much more upbeat tune and the vocal and instrumental mix is spot on here. her's powerful vocals and addictive instrumentals make this a tune to remember.

Grace starts with a belter of a intro and Helen Rae makes this another enjoyable tune with her impressive voice, her operatic training really shines here.

Helen Rae is a Brisbane based singer who started her songwriting journey 4 years ago, after training as an Opera Singer at the Queensland Conservatorium of music she wanted to expand upon her growing interest in Electronic and Popular music. She was also seeking a more satisfying way of self expression and first of all planned to combine EDM with elements of Pop and Opera.

2012 saw the release of her debut EP - You're The One, which was produced by Andy Max at the Grove Studios in Sydney. In 2013 Helen Rae consulted with Aislinn about local music producers, this was when she met Caleb James.

The duo worked on Ripples On The Water, which they then recorded at the Palace Studio, Salisbury. It is more acoustic then previous songs and also it's lyrically more expressive.

Helen Rae has written 30+ inspirational songs but has only recorded and released 6 of them, eventually she hopes to release them all. She is currently working on 1930s inspired tunes that will hopefully feature on the next EP.

Today sees the release of E-Mute's emotionally stirring debut single Miracle

Miracle is E-Mute's debut single, in that sense it does not feature collaborations with other musicians. Miracle features powerful vocals, heart felt lyrics and a haunting piano instrumental as well as percussion beats.

Theo the driving force of the project emotively sings about life and how to find the strength to make the most of the short time we have on earth.

He came up with the main piano arpeggio and melody during a low point in his life. His dad was in hospital and as sad as this was, he only had a few days left and on top of that his band with Scott James of Stereophonics fame had just split up.

It was the first time ever in his life that he experienced this great level of sadness and sorrow, during this point he discovered a new side to his personality.

Theo is a very positive person but at that particular moment he was overwhelmed by his emotions and was only living in the moment and wasn't concerned about the past or future and that's how Miracle came about.

Miracle is real music from the soul (no Miley Cyrus style shenanigans here) and it was a platform for Theo to come to terms with how he was feeling.

One technique he employs whilst songwriting is metaphors, oxymorons and antithesis.

"Did you notice that the last chorus twists the whole meaning of the song? That ‘YOU’ in capital letters has replaced ‘I’. For me God, the world, the Universe is what we make out of it. We are the Universe’s consciousness. Let’s all try to improve ourselves first and then seek for redemption. That’s the meaning of my song. Hope you enjoy the track!"

Whilst recording the music video Theo wore his Nirvana T-Shirt, as Nirvana was a band he grew up with. The first time he tried out a drum kit during his childhood was to the classic Nirvana tune Smells Like Teen Spirit. In fact as a result of his obsession he fell in love with the band and as a tribute to them inspiring him to become who he is now he pays tribute to them through his attire.

This is the first in a series of singles that E-Mute will be releasing in 2014, so expect more great music from this talented musician.

We Found Out's debut EP delivers powerful vocals and catchy instrumentals

We Found Out's self titled debut EP entertains us from the first beat thanks to powerful vocals and catchy instrumentals.

Three Summers is a great choice to introduce us to their EP especially with the catchy guitar riff.

Never Meant To Be further highlights their cool guitar skills and unforgettable vocal harmonics.

Butterflies begins with a belter of a intro and we are then graced with the beautiful vocals of We Found Out's talented line up, their female vocalist Emjay Doherty really shines in this song.

The band are made up of 5 members who create a unique dynamic in pop punk music. Their mixed lineup allows their music to convey two sides to every story, this ensures that their lyrics can relate to a wider audience.

They were formed in 2012 and consist of Emjay Doherty - Vocals,  Grant McCaw on Vocals/Rhythm Guitar, Ben Farrant on Lead Guitar, Connor Hudspith on Bass and Michael Todd on Drums and Percussion.

The delightful vocals of Bristol Singer/Songwriter Natalie Holmes

Today sees the release of Natalie's latest EP - Over and Out, with 5 elegant melodies which effortlessly showcase Natalie's musical prowess as not only a first class vocalist but also as a musician and songwriter extraordinaire - both lyrically and musically she's come along long way since Good Morning Sleepyhead.

iTunes - Over and Out EP

Don't Know Me is a mellow melody and with its catchy instrumentals it makes for a enjoyable tune. I first had the pleasure of seeing a strip backed version of this at The Garage, Islington.

Fireman features heart felt and moving lyrics, Natalie's lyrical wizardy certainly has a way of connecting with you emotionally and making you feel you're part of the song.

With a elegant intro All I Ask is another heart felt number and this time it's about treating good people the way they deserve.

Running features a smooth intro, a elegant instrumental arrangement and Natalie's smooth vocals - this is such a enjoyable tune and also without a doubt it's my favourite song on the EP.

Brother starts with a memorable piano intro and stirring vocals, Natalie's voice really moves you with this song - this is such a short but nonetheless beautiful melody.

Musically Natalie continues to go from strength to strength , whether it's with her solo material or the start of her new musical project, Winter Springs - one thing is for certain Miss Holmes is a first class musical entertainer.

The powerful vocals of Joanna Weston

Joanna Weston released her debut studio album on 5 April 2014. Moving from Guildford in the UK, she has been based in The Netherlands working with some incredible musicians, fine tuning each of the songs that appear on this beautiful album. Now released, she is so excited that it’s finally out in the world for all to hear because the end result of all their hard work is truly fantastic!

Joanna and her band took the stage on 5 April 2014 in Utrecht to celebrate the release of ‘Inside Out’, where they performed all tracks, which appear on the album as well as songs from her two previous EPs. ‘Inside Out’ includes audience favourites from her live gigs ‘I Know’, ‘Say So’, and ‘What Are We Fighting For’ plus some new songs that have never been heard before.

The Album contains 11 tracks, which are all written by Joanna and performed with her band, made up of musicians from Utrecht, and was recorded, mixed and mastered at Studio Frank Rijk (Utrecht) by Frank van der Meulen.

Born in London, her two previously released EPs ‘What Do I Do?’ (2010) and ‘Pieces Of The Puzzle’ (2011) have both been well received and appreciated by music lovers.

Joanna is a storyteller who conveys her experiences with great flair. Her music is upbeat and ‘real life’. It is a fine combination of folk-pop that you would want to hear time again.

Hypnotic vocals with her beautifully crafted music showcase her skill and versatility as a songwriter and performer. Joanna’s performances are always uplifting, you must see her live!

Many radio stations around the world, including BBC Introducing, Eagle Radio, Kane FM, the Tom Robinson's BBC6 Music 'Fresh On The Net' show regularly support her music. She was also recently invited by Dutch radio stations including Radio1.nl to play live and promote her new debut album.

Whether a prestigious venue, festival or intimate house concert, Joanna loves to perform. She has played shows in the UK, Turkey, Belgium, Germany and The Netherlands and is excited to take her album on tour so look out for forthcoming tour dates very soon.

The first thing that hits you from the moment you click play is Joanna's unique and powerful vocals and if that wasn't enough you are also dazzled by beautiful and catchy instrumentals.

Desire is not only upbeat but also a moving tune which is haunting in places.

Don't Stop is a enjoyable up tempo song with a Spanish style guitar arrangement.

What We Are Fighting for is a laid back and more somber track.

Little Things has a bluesy feel to it and the instrumental arrangement is something special.

Say So is a love song with lyrics which come straight from the heart.

Drive features a beautiful stringed arrangement.

I'm Not Ok is another melancholy themed number, this time covering the sadness of heartbreak.

In contrast to the last track I Can't Believe is a much more upbeat and cheerful song plus Joanna's vocals towards the end are a real delight.

Inside Out is a beautiful song about soul searching and trying to find your place in life.

I Know is a fast paced and cheerful with beautiful and heartfelt lyrics, this track is a great way for Joanna to conclude 11 elegant melodies.
