John Otott's album Colors treats us to a melodic equivalent of a ray of sunshine

John Otott is a multi instrumentalist/composer who embraced music early on in life, beginning with the piano and then moving onto the bass guitar during high school, this led to him playing in rock bands and performing on the Hollywood music circuit at venues such as The Whiskey A Go-Go.

He then transitioned into an instrumental Jazz/Rock band where he performed with artists such as Lyle Mays whilst still maintaining his love of composing piano music.

John collaborated with violinist Julie Metz on his debut instrumental CD - Exit Reality which was released nationwide under his label Daniel Rabbit records and also received a commercial release in Taiwan, this led to media exposure due to E! Entertainment TV.

John recorded a second CD Road Trip under the name John Michael and this was also released commercially in Taiwan thanks to Sony / BMG.

John's next album Flying Machines features contemporary solo piano compositions and two tracks off the CD entered the Top 25 position for New Age music in Canada.

His latest release Colors hit virtual shelves in November 2014 and entertains us with 13 tracks that are a true musical work of art thanks to John's unique talent for creating outstandingly beautiful piano compositions.

Each track dazzles our auditory senses with something unique thereby treating us to a melodic equivalent of a ray of sunshine.
