The Powerful Vocals of Katy Haymer

Tall Trees opens with a uplifting piano arrangement and lyrics which compliment the instrumentals, Katy is a dab hand of combining sad lyrics with cheerful instrumentals.

Impacting Moments features a snazzy instrumental arrangement which are wonderful alongside Katy's powerful vocals.

Help Me begins with a catchy riff and a fast tempo which paves the way for upbeat lyrics that reflect on how life has a habit of passing us by in the blink of an eye especially when we have no one to share it with.

The Right Way features slick instrumentals and catchy lyrics.

Always features a elegant piano arrangement and beautiful vocals which deliver fab lyrics, this is such a uplifting song.

It's Written is another upbeat tune with Katy's strong vocals, a haunting violin arrangement and stirring heartfelt lyrics.

Do I Trust features delightful vocals which convey heartfelt lyrics, whilst complimented by a instrumental arrangement which wouldn't be out of place on a movie's soundtrack.

Oh My Honey opens with cool percussion beats and vocals which give a country feel to it, with a upbeat instrumental and saddish lyrics this is a bit of a musical enigma.

As I Wait begins with the smooth sounds of a guitar, this track has a melancholy feel to it thanks to the return of the haunting sounds of a violin and lyrics which convey the same mood.

I Need A Doctor features catchy instrumental hooks and emotive lyrics, that pluck at the heart strings.

Hearts Collide is a laidback acoustic number with radiant lyrics beside a minimal instrumental arrangement.

Katy Haymer hails from a long line of operatic singers and with a love of acoustic and folk music she is soon set to deliver her first album - Echoes Of The Heart, which is an anthology of love songs straight from the heart.

Soulful Melodies thanks to Myles Sanko

Born in Black & White is Myles Sankos' debut album, which was released in June 2012. It features seven tracks which are a combination of Soul, Rock and Jazz.

High On You is a Funky tune with a catchy intro and also upbeat poppy vocals, I especially love the Piano arrangement.

So Hard To Stop is a soulful power ballad with a musically appealing instrumental arrangement.

Distance From You opens with a brassy jazz intro and entertains us with smooth lyrics and a funky instrumental hook.

Come On Home features emotive vocals overlaid on a smooth instrumental bed.

Don't Let Me Down features powerful lyrical hooks and wonderful instrumentals.

Goodbye Lady Goodbye entertains us with soulful guitar riffs and smooth vocals.

Sea Of Fire is a smooth melody with beautiful lyrics and a delightful instrumental arrangement.

My favourite tracks from Myles debut album are Don't Let Me Down and Sea Of Fire, as musically I found them slightly more appealing then the other tracks.

The tracks have been skillfully produced so everything ends up sounding superb, with smooth vocals and outstanding instrumentals Born in Black & White is simply a real delight to soul fans everywhere.

After just under two years Myles is set to release his second album at a launch party which will take place at prestigious music venue The Jazz Cafe in Camden.

Here's a brief Q&A from the man himself about what his fans can expect from his eagerly anticipated follow up album to Born in Black & White.

1) What can people expect from your new album?

Great songs with positive messages.

2) Would you say its different from your debut album?

This album feels warmer and more emotional to me, with an old school approach.

3) Which would you say is your favourite track from it?

To be honest I really like all the songs but "Forever Dreaming" & "To My Surprise" could be my fans.

4) Which track was the most fun to record?

They where all fun to record as they where all recorded on a 3 day session one after the other. I added some vibraphone on "So Much Indeed" which was fun to do.

5) Can your fans expect any surprises from your launch party?

We are the surprise but I am must say that this will be the fist gig with the full 8 piece band so it is pretty special.

6) Will anyone be supporting you at the launch party?

We are currently trying to confirm someone really cool so it is a TBC for now.

Forever Dreaming is Myles's second album and contains 11 outstanding tracks.

The title track opens with a funky intro and Myles's soulful voice is pleasant as always and with upbeat and motivational lyrics and smooth instruments this song is a real gem.

Light In My Hand features a smooth guitar arrangement and mellow lyrics.

Shooting Star begins with a energetic intro and lyrics which tell a musical story about finding love.

So Much Indeed is a slow tune, which makes it perfect for a romantic occasion.

Lonely Dreamers incorporates a delightful smooth instrumental arrangement including a flute.

To My Surprise includes the beautiful sounds of the flute.

Save My Soul features an eclectic mix of instruments which complement Myles smooth vocals.

Take A Look At Me Now opens with a first class instrumental arrangement especially the piano, which connect with Myles vocals like a musical Jigsaw Puzzle.

Where We Need To Be begins with a slick piano intro.

To My Surprise (Instrumental) is a nice and delightful track to conclude Myles' impressive second album.

Forever Dreaming entertains us with an assortment of tracks which showcase not only his soulful vocals but also some pretty impressive instrumental arrangements and productions for this.

The heartfelt lyrics of Animal Dreams

Kate Lynne Logan's heartfelt and emotive lyrics are brought to life courtesy of her beautiful vocals and if that wasn't enough Kate also entertains us with first class instrumental arrangements.

Official Video for Whiskey Sea

Whilst all 11 tracks each delight in their own unique way, there are a few tracks that captivated me that little bit more.

These musical gems are the upbeat Glow, the quirky Little White Truck, the catchy beats of City of Madness and the musically beautiful All Those Years.

Not only do these songs showcase Kate's broad vocal range but also the eclectic and varied choice of musical instruments and when combined with a first class production Animal Dreams is simply breathtaking.

Kate Lynne Logan is a Seattle based Americana Musician, her fourth album Animal Dreams will be released on May 1st.

Not only has Kate already released 3 projects and 19 original songs but she also has a Musician Licensing Contract with ABC Family.

She has entertained her fellow Americans in numerous states and has also had the prestigious honour of headlining at some of her hometown's most iconic venues such as The Tractor Tavern and Neumos.

Kate has also performed alongside award winning musicians such as Elizabeth Cook and Peter Bradley Adams.

The Beautiful Vocals of The Koniac Net

Abiogenesis is a 5 track EP which is a follow up to One Last Monsoon.

Rose Coloured Glasses is a smooth upbeat melody with catchy instrumental hooks beautiful vocals and positive lyrics.

Floor-less opens with an addictive beat and more smooth instrumentals.

Another Point Of View is a laid back tune with mellow vocals complimented by a first class instrumental arrangement.

Chasing After You begins with a delightful guitar intro, which transitions into laid back vocals before introducing us to more upbeat instrumentals, this has a more rocky feel then the preceding track.

The Ardent Companion That You Are is even more of a rock song then Chasing After You but the vocals are still enjoyable in places.

I'm more of a fan of the first three tracks as they showcase the best qualities of the band's vocal talent and instrumental mastery.

The debut album One Last Monsoon was spawned in Bombay, India where it was not only solely written by Singer/Songwriter David Abraham but also primarily recorded in his bedroom - an apt locale as the album pays homage to Indie and Alternative genres and the musicians that keep these genres alive.

The Koniac Net has been compared to the likes of The Stills, Smashing Pumpkins, Toadies and even Chris Isaac and The Deftones.

Songs from One Last Monsoon gained extensive coverage by getting airplay on 100 radio stations across 28 countries.

Following numerous requests to tour internationally, in June 2012 The Koniac Net expanded from a one man project to a 5 piece band.

David and The Koniac Net has received wide spread media coverage from GQ and Rolling Stone Magazine to MTV (India) and VH1 (India) as part of Vogue's Fashion Week, Delhi and their songs were even featured in Aussie Web Series - Flat Whites.

Australian Songbird Helen Rae entertains us with smooth and soulful vocals

www.reverbnation.com/helenrae

Rewind showcases Helen Rae's smooth and soulful vocals, despite the instrumentals overpowering the vocals this isn't a bad introductory track.

Ripples On The Water is a much more upbeat tune and the vocal and instrumental mix is spot on here. her's powerful vocals and addictive instrumentals make this a tune to remember.

Grace starts with a belter of a intro and Helen Rae makes this another enjoyable tune with her impressive voice, her operatic training really shines here.

Helen Rae is a Brisbane based singer who started her songwriting journey 4 years ago, after training as an Opera Singer at the Queensland Conservatorium of music she wanted to expand upon her growing interest in Electronic and Popular music. She was also seeking a more satisfying way of self expression and first of all planned to combine EDM with elements of Pop and Opera.

2012 saw the release of her debut EP - You're The One, which was produced by Andy Max at the Grove Studios in Sydney. In 2013 Helen Rae consulted with Aislinn about local music producers, this was when she met Caleb James.

The duo worked on Ripples On The Water, which they then recorded at the Palace Studio, Salisbury. It is more acoustic then previous songs and also it's lyrically more expressive.

Helen Rae has written 30+ inspirational songs but has only recorded and released 6 of them, eventually she hopes to release them all. She is currently working on 1930s inspired tunes that will hopefully feature on the next EP.
