Smooth Vocals and Upbeat Melodies straight from South Wales

The South Road are a four piece band from Porthcawl in South Wales.

Their line up consists of:

Andrew Brace on Guitar and Vocals
Dean "Smythers" Smith on Guitar
Christian "Pip" Dobbin on Bass
Dangerous Dave Price on Drums

Musically they started as a cover band but after Dave joined their ranks as a drummer, after liking their sound he suggested they started writing their own material. This led to the release of a three track EP in July 2013, featuring guest keyboard player Dasher of Treehouse Fires fame.

The band then wrote more original material, whilst still performing covers during their gigs as they continue to develop their song writing skills. At the moment they are recording their next EP and are also on the lookout out for a keyboard player.

The South Road are musically inspired by Country Music Artists such as Tom Petty and Neil Young.

Not In My Nature features a catchy and upbeat instrumental melody, smooth vocals and heartfelt lyrics.

Taken has more of a rock feel to it, this is in part down to the energetic guitar riffs.

Way To Walk has an anthemic quality to it as expressed by the depth of the lyrics and the instrumental arrangement is a real treat to the ears.
