At 15 still starving for more music he turned his attention to Hip Hop and this is when he discovered his music "idol" Musiq Soulchild and this inspired Royce further and as a result he was further inspired by the likes of greats such as Lauren Hill and The Fugees.
Royce then went onto learn how to play the guitar and this further encouraged his talent and passion for music. As of 2012, Royce is now based in Tallahassee, Florida and has the following achievements to his name.
A successful tour in France and his fifth album (fourth solo album) is in the works.
He describes his style of music as cerebral soul, which is a unique blend of alternative hip hop, soul, reggae vibes and RnB.
